"Most of the people that want's something manufactured; design engineers, scientists, and techs. 90% of the time, their project is late and they want it done. When you can't do it ASAP, everyone is stressed and frustrated. Everyone loves to blame and point fingers. Management is very reactionary. Instead of sitting down and gathering information to focus on the root cause, it's often do something NOW!"

"Gather data and focus on the root cause. Stop trying to solve something on the fly. Get information from people under you."

"JPL is the world leader in sending unmanned probes into outer space and the level of expertise there is very high. Working with consummate professionals in engineering and science was a pleasure."

"I have worked at JPL for over 30 years as a contractor and as a employee. It was a great place to work. The work is very interesting, intense, and important. As a system architect I oversaw many large and small projects. It is good experience to see the project go from proposal to fruition."
