Working at Jabil inc. in San Jose, CA: 2 Employee Reviews

Jabil inc. Employee

"Jabil is overall a good company to work for. In their core business - like PCB assembly, some of there factories are doing excellent work attaining lofty goals and metrics due to dedicated management with long tenures. I was genuinely impressed by their operations in Mexico and Asia. However, their mechanical operation was a whole different beast - opposite of their core business expertise. Trying to impose matured and refined PCB processes in their mechanical division was a big mistake, including having lofty unattainable metrics imposed by senior management. Sometimes it seemed like the senior guys were not in touch with reality. They are a hard task master and expect results without providing necessary resources."

"Jabil is a very large company that has multiple sites in San Jose and all over the world. They are a contract manufacturer that has a great reputation for making high-quality products for various companies in the semiconductor and other high-tech industries. The site where I worked was making major changes and was phasing out design engineering so they could focus on build-to-print only."
