"About halfway through my tenure there, they hired a project manager who didn't know anything about computers. She promised customers things that couldn't be done, and the programmers were left with the task of figuring out how to make her right. I'm proud to say that we did on many occasions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Thanks for hiring college students out of your classes... it was a great place to work as a first job, and it gave me the experience I needed to work in the web programming field. The company was small, so it felt like a family... and I appreciated that a lot."
