"Hire good teachers and paid them well. Good teachers cost, bad teachers cost more."

"Teaching the students. Working with some of the other educators. The chance to further students knowledge of real world employment."

"Be prepared for the shock of not getting compensated. Look around at some other schools before deciding to work at ITT."

What don't you like about working at ITT Tech?

"Low pay, outdated programs, books and equipment, labs that don't work and exercises that don't make sense and don't work"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"revamp the whole thing to reflect real world, get newer textbooks and create better lab exercises that reflect the real world"

"As part time after hours, is just OK, but would never think for a full commitment."

"I enjoy teaching and I do have the freedom to express my opinion and ideas for better teaching."

"Know what you like to do, and which position you are applying for, it would be a good opportunity to like what you do. Not just for the sake of having a job."

"To have a curriculum created based on standard lesson plans and teaching, for better organization. I am willing to participate."

"Not enough room in the instructors area to accommodate the students that need counseling."

"Develop student groups to work on projects of their choice that will relate to their curriculum and benefit them to better understand the material"

"The company is solid. But some campuses are in turmoil. Be careful."

"Horrible ethics issues going on. Pressure to pass students and falsify attendance records to keep up the numbers to corporate."

"Hire real professionals with management training; also promote best practices teaching methods, not numbers incentives."

"Most of the students REALLY wanted to learn."

What don't you like about working at ITT Tech?

"The instructional material was dated, and in many cases incorrect. To make things worse, I was NOT allowed to FIX any of the shorcommings of the material."

"If you are going to be a college, be a college. Teach current, relevant, material."
