What do you like about working at IRS?

"I enjoyed working with the physical security staff and assisting them with their everyday activities. I learned the importance of the physical security staff and as a registrar, I learned there are different aspects of a business that are just as vital to the success of someone's position, as the person actually completing the task."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I've never interviewed with the Internal Revenue Service."

What don't you like about working at IRS?

"The lack of communication between employee and management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I believe that a team is more successful when they feel their needs are being met. Sometimes having a manager in a completely different part of your state, or in a completely different state is straining, because it is hard to portray the necessities and severity of a process or a person, strictly by reviewing reports and numerical data. Seeing the issues first hand gives everyone a better understanding the needs, both locally and globally."
