"Company has no loyalty to it's employees. Prior to board meetings, they do a round of firing to increase their projections. Tough to rise up in the company as it is a small family/ friend/ certain religion/ etc. in the higher ranks. Great company to work for while you find another job... you will be fired if you do not find another job within 1-2 years."
