What do you like about working at Unilever?
"The company label is known worldwide and had many standards of excellence. The company sucess was in relation to the whole team working together. There were changes in software, business always involving to better the product and the team."
What don't you like about working at Unilever?
"The distribution department that I worked with was relocated more centralized to a few warehouses. That was a change made far inadvance of me working with the company and that would mean that I was no longer needed."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"At that time there was many different manufacturing challenges for new product and the materials available. We did not have adequate forecasting tools to meet demand and relied on emails. I would suggest a chart or graph to display so that all parties are informed of critical issues and time delays."

"Nothing. If you didn't submit to sucking up to the plant manager, you were not allowed to advance even outside of that particular plant."

"If you can find a job anywhere else, do it!"

"Everything."

"Stop all of the inter-office politics and get back to the work at hand. Stop having such huge insecurities and allow the staff to help the plant to grow."

"Oracle is self managed well oiled machine, that allows employees to excel and grow at your own pace."

"Difficult to get hired on permanently, use a lot of contractors."

"Stop using contractors so much and keep your good employees and hire better."

"Company didn't know which direction to go in and now they are slowly going out of business"

What do you like about working at Embarq?
"It was a good place to work. Many good people as co-workers and management. I learned a lot while working there. They were also involved in the community and I liked that as well."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Since I did not become part of KGP I don't know what tips to offer. I have heard they are very limited on hiring anyone full time. The new management team is always telling the employees they run a lean business."
What don't you like about working at Embarq?
"Seeing people be layed off begining in 2001 and there after every 12 months or 6 months. Then I became one of them. Hard to watch and hard to be part of."

"No. I know they are doing everything they can to keep the company afloat in these difficult times."
