"I worked for Intermec for many years. It was satisfying to be able to develop some of the newest and most innovative RFID products the market has seen. For a time, when the original management retired, the company was controlled by a group coming from HP, which seriously hurt the company. Today, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honey, and it's outlook is good."

"My work environment. My co-workers. My direct report manager. The projects that I worked on. The freedom from being micro-managed to death. They always gave me opportunities to learn new skills."

"Always remember, there is no guarantee of a job tomorrow. Hard work does not insure a job. Good work does not insure a job. The job is driven my market forces and every one can be replaced."

What don't you like about working at Intermec?

"The decisions made by the upper management to reduce short term costs versus the long term health of the company."

"Change the way the top officers of the company are compensated. Make their compensation based on several years growth."
