Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"you need to be strong willed, tough skinned, and on guard at all times. Must be able to play the corporate game and manipulate that game so you are controlling it, without letting upper management know. There is potential at Interim to be successful, and if you maintain good graces with the branch management team, you could have a very profitable career with potential ability to progress up. You just cannot trust that what you are being told is the truth, or that you actually have support of upper management. When interviewing, be sure to indicate that you are never ill, in great health and that work is the number one priority in your life. Your commitment is to your career. Discuss times when you have had difficult personnel to manage and how you were successful in turning them around. Indicate that the company is always correct, and you are committed to defending that. the business is business and their is no room for any emotions or personal issues."

What don't you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"VP is very judgemental. Branch manager is judgemental on a social level. I was asked to lie to another agency as well as a hospital D/C planner. Micro manage the department heads and do not support change, progress. Very strict absentee policy. Very little vacation time available. Salaried employees are docked pay or vacation time for doctor's appointments, but no overtime paid for hours worked over 40/wk. The upper management will work harder at discrediting an employee and provide opportunities/set up to make that employee fail. The HR manager will blatantly discuss terminations with other staff members prior to that staff member being let go. He also has discussed confidential topics with various staff members that should not be informed of any concerns with HR. branch mgr will question every illness and indicate that the employee was not sick enough to miss 2 days work. Also will repeatedly phone the ill staff member at home when they are ill. Very distrustful. They do not give pay raises for performance or for cost of living increases. Employee reviews are completed in a timely manner or given to the field staff in a conference. Branch mgr also will write up conversations as disciplinary action and not tell the staff member that they were disciplined. Over all working there, you have to really watch your back and stab them in the back before they get you. There is a high turnover rate for their home health aides, RN's, LPN's and Therapist. They will also accept clients when they know they do not have the staffing to accomadate them. Nurses will work over time and 10 -14 days in a row to staff the clients."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to the issues the field staff have and work to accommodate changes needed in scheduling and referral process. Do not micro manage your departmental staff. Allow the competent personnel hired to do their jobs and run their departments."

Registered Nurse

"Enjoyed being a hoome health RN, but was unhappy with the company I was working for."

What do you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"Enjoyed the clients and getting to spend one on one time and give the clients my undivided attention."

What don't you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"The company was not as client friendly as some where that I would enjoy working at."

Staffing Specialist

"Wonderful co-workers"

What do you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"The co-workers"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Great co-workers, but the upper management changes frequently."

What don't you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"The high turnover with managerial staff"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give the managers you hire a chance"

Home Health Agency Manager

"poorly managed, abuses field staff, care more for the $$ than clients or employees"

What do you like about working at Interim Healthcare?

"$$"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't go there...."
