"Intel Security is a Sales driven company. It is run like a private fraternity house. Boondoggles abound at the executive level with their private posses - skiing off sites, lap dances in Vegas. If you are not in sales, prepare to be ignored. Cloud products are woefully outdated and unstaffed - so no new features for cloud customers... Product teams ignore feedback from customers and other parts of the company - they've invested too much in their personal Pet Projects. They seem to "lay off" anyone of real substance... On the upside, they pay well and bonuses are substantial! But you can forget work / life balance..."
"OK in general. It's a job."
"Being a Process Engineer at Intel, specifically in D1D Ramp, is exactly as everyone says. Long hours, stressful, fast paced, on-call 24/7, and if you end up with a difficult module, you will have a much worse time than someone on another module. There's no such thing as work/life balance. However, you have access to the most sophisticated technology, in the best fab in the world. You are also fairly well compensated for your work. Manager/employee relations are not great, as you would expect from promoting technical nerds to management roles without extensive training. Also, the fab management hierarchy is very flat, often requiring horizontal moves before the possibility of any vertical moves."
"Excellent company, beyond excellent people. The Intel Capital Group has a lot of talented people and the support from the business unit experts is unmatched. There are strong personalities and bureaucracy to overcome which can hamper decision making and speed. Overall, this was a great place to work."
"I worked here for 4 years, it was a great place to work."
"Strong company with good ethical values and an emphasis on customer retention."
"Intel is a very company to work with. But it lacks the tradition to develop ground breaking products."
"Great place to work if you find the right team. Intel bends over backwards to make it a great place to work, but if you and your team do not jive well, it could be a burden to work there. My experience was good overall. But I am tired of high profile tech companies. I want to go save the world!"
