What do you like about working at Poway Unified School District?
"I liked working with kids. I liked knowing that I am making a difference in their lives. They looked up to me and I taught them valuable life lessons."

"Just be yourself. This job isn't for anybody. Be prepared to be frustrated but that comes with the territory when working with kids."
What don't you like about working at Poway Unified School District?
"No benefits."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Structure. The place I worked at was not very structured and it they would just wing it."

"It's a great atmosphere to work in and the people there are very friendly and approachable. They show a genuine interest in their work and form good relationships with people around them."

"I was only in a supporting staff position and between jobs, so I would recommend it if that is your situation. I would definitely recommend to teachers who are thinking about appplying here to go ahead and do so - it is a great place to work as a teacher."
