"They hire too many shoppers which in turn takes payment down. If they were to not hire so many in one area there would be more long time employees."

"I have worked for Instacart for a few months now. I like the pay and schedule. I like shopping for customers and communicating with them. I enjoy how fast time passes by while on shift. I would recommend this job to anyone who needs a job and what In like the most is getting paid weekly. That is the best reward at the end of the week."

"I have been a personal shopper for Instacart since April of 2017. The work life balance and ability to create your own schedule is amazing. I say the only bad parts of the job is you really do not have any relationship building with other members. Also as more people are joining the company it seems as the pay is not as good for some of the orders."

"I have worked for this company for about 6 years. I find they have made growth in their customer base, but have poor values when it comes to their employees. Part-time employees receive regular pay cuts, while full time receives little additional compensation as they spend more time within the company. I find it difficult to communicate with management as well."

"I have worked with Instacart for over 4 years now and it has been nothing but amazing. I enjoy helping people on a daily basis. The joy of providing customer service to people who really need us because they do not have time is awesome. I enjoy what I do every day. I make sure we are on top of our game every day that I work. The best job ever!"

"I've worked for Instacart in the past and while they were surrounded by controversy over employee / contract lawsuits, I found the company culture to be very positive and friendly. I felt that I was treated fairly and never felt taken advantage of."
