"I was laid off during the recession. I created a great benefits package, however the management's contribution to premiums was not very good. Management refused to put a match in the 401k plan. My salary was less than market rate based on my extensive responsibilities"

"revisit compensation for exempt and bring up to market rate. Consider adding a 401k match as a way to entice good employees and for retention. Make the Employer contribution for the employee only plan more generous"
