"I liked working for Indymac Bank"

What do you like about working at Indymac Bank?

"I liked the job, my coworkers and the brokers I worked with."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be patient. The hiring process takes a long time but they do provide very good training."

What don't you like about working at Indymac Bank?

"The loan products and guidelines where constantly changing during the last eight months I worked there and I had to keep informed in order to give my brokers a 'heads-up' on a loan they might be working on and sometimes loan products would get cancelled when the entire loan application was already in the processing center, so that would make the broker and their customer very unhappy. It was tough all around."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"None. Indymac Bank was taken over by the Federal Government in July of 2008 and now they have a different name, but I think they still have many or most of the same people."
