IT Network Manager

"I have worked for IEM for the past 3 yrs and have enjoyed my time here. The people that I have worked with over this time have been great and will remain friends after I leave. Unfortunately the company has fallen on hard times and lack the work income to remain profitable. We grew to around 140 employees and 3 location, two being out of state in Texas. During that time I rebuilt our network with VMWare virtual servers and use Veeam for backups and replication. I installed an EMC VNXe SAN for our main site in Baton Rouge, and used local drives for our smaller remote sites. I installed WSUS for updates and McAfee for antivirus. To make traffic flow faster, I installed an MPLS circuit and Meraki security appliance for WAN acceleration. I brought Exchange 2010 in house to save on the hosted exchange service we had which in turn paid for all of the network up grades after the first 6 months. It will be sad to leave but I feel it is in my best interest to move on."
