"There are some very hard working people working there. The commute (against the North Jersey grain) was easier for me"

"you will most likely be offered much less then what you are asking for and less then the going rate. Be prepared to be moved into departments for which your are not trained.You are not afforded a option of refusing. Your job responsibilities will constantly change. Be prepared for a lot of yelling and screaming as this is the normal form of communication from the top management"
What don't you like about working at Hampton Forge?
"the business atmosphere was very bad. The owner is verbally abusive to all employees. There is a lack of direction and job responsibilities. Morale was very low and the turn over is very high"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"come up with a solid business plan and stick to it. Stop moving employees into departments in which they have no experience, training or a desire to work in"

"Make sure you realize that there's no dental insurance. Try to sit with everyone else and not be segregated."

"The company computer system was very dated, the coworkers were very cliquey, the owners didn't really take the time to include me in office meetings."

"Include all employees in meetings; if you do it for one you should do it for all."

"Too many meetings. I had to attend every meeting even it didn't concern my department."

"Definitely less meetings. Communications between departments need to be strengthened."

"During the time I worked at EBT, the company was a very laid back and fun place to work. I put myself through school while working there and they were very flexible with my school hours. I worked with a lot of great people and developed a passion for retail while at EBT."
