"For starters, beware of any company too cheap to advertise their positions on a reputable job board. Seeing jobs posted on Craigslist should be red flag number one. This company will do everything possible to penny-pinch. The problem is that quality suffers from this failure to foresee problems associated with cutting corners. Training is very poor. Some directors don't even have a firm grasp of the English language. Management takes unnecessary risks rather than paying more to do things the proper way. The working conditions are dreadful. If you can, avoid working for this company at all costs. There are other angles to attract customers than being the cheapest option. Quality costs money, but it is money well spent. Provide more on site guidance to your satellite labs. Proper planning and implementation of your "cost-saving" decisions would do wonders to prevent the most obvious problems that occur as a result. Don't buy broken equipment. Get a more reliable LIMS. Hire managers only after they have been in the company for at least a year. And improve communication between directors, management, and production."
