Identigene Employee

"I wouldn't wish a job here on my worst enemy."

What do you like about working at Identigene?

"I thought I was getting an opportunity to build a career with a small company that had growth potential. What I found was a backstabbing group of corporate hack wannabes and a culture of keeping overhead low by keeping turnover high. The one experienced scientist I came there to work with and learn from was run out two weeks after I arrived."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Unless you are interviewing for the CEO position with liberal rein from the board of directors to revamp the company culture, run away as fast as you can."

What don't you like about working at Identigene?

"It was literally one of the worst professional experiences of my life. Run, don't walk away, from the opportunity to work here."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"If you want to build a strong company, you keep the workers happy. Your HR runs the place more like a Russian gulag. I know now the management was just trying to keep the place lean and mean so they could sell it. In the process you engaged in cruel and capricious labor practices."
