"The people were great. I liked everyone there. The pace was very slow and when I got there all the developers were using the sa password - I understand that - I have been there myself. They were on SQL Server 2000 and they wanted to go to SQL 2008 R2. It just took a long time to switch over."

The work life balance was great, my supervisor and superiors were all fair and honest and executive management cared about the opinion of the employees. This is a small, young company and I thought there was nowhere to go but up. Unfortunately, due to some inaccurate volumes, they laid off several employees."

"Request to meet with folks from all departments - ask to look at existing sw to get a grasp of what the company actually does"

"It was a very combative and contentious work environment. Not much diversity in the Engineering Dept when I was there."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Improve on vision and management style - increase diversity in the Engineering and QA departments. Leverage on existing talent when developing new products instead of only relying on newly hired folks."
