1.7When you’re in sales you justify the time you give up, the time you spend on trips or away from your family because you’re working towards a bonus. Imagine having an experienced sales team who met their sales goals for years, maybe decades. Suddenly, you can’t meet goals, you’re forced to work more, no bonus means a decrease in pay, the cost of your medical benefits has increased substantially, and you’re on your 3rd or 4th round of revolving door employees. Your new bosses coming in demanding more hours and less creativity. They have all the new ideas and the energy to save the company that seems to be headed towards bankruptcy. That’s what it was like to work there.
3.3Opportunity to learn my segments and be highly involved in the flow through process; however, this also regularly requires 70-80 hours a week to accomplish deadlines set. Communication in processes and changes complicated this. Many wonderful people work at the company, and the coworkers are the best part.
2.8I enjoy the work I do at HHC but promotion is not a priority to upper management. I can do bigger and better things for this organization but I am not allowed.
