"Briefly worked for Horizontal under an IT contract. The salary was okay, but the benefits virtually canceled that out. When experiencing poor treatment from someone at the company I was contracted to work for, Horizontal gaslighted and made me feel like I was wrong for voicing my concerns; they told me to suck it up and made it clear they would do what was necessary to terminate my contract. By default, anyone associated with me experienced retaliation as well. They seemingly wanted to present a good opportunity and I took it because of that, but I would say they are just opportunistic when it comes to entry-level IT professionals, the market they provide, and the lack of representation they come with in terms of their experience and potential vs their capital worth. The company who contracted us paid more just to keep us at will and ensure they did not have to pay more for benefits etc., as technology professionals cost a company more than some others they may provide FTE."
"Questionable leadership and not a lot of opportunity"
