"Don’t be fooled all the positive reviews are trying a mitigate the fact that this place is terrible. They lie to their customers, will tell them anything to get them to sign documents. After working here and buying a home I would never refinance with them."

"I have worked for HomePad lending for over a year now and I've found that the company knows every loan by name and not by a loan number. Some lenders will only accept high credit scores and a large down payment. Having access to working with 30-plus lenders gives you a vast number of places to send a loan that may not get approved at other places. The mortgage business is a very stressful work environment and is not for everyone. Some people in the business just don’t care its another file one more in the vast number of files you are working on. HomePadLending.com you are a name, a person and someone’s home and not just another file."

"I typically don't take time to write reviews about my employment experience at any company but this company is great. It's a very small team-based environment and you're typically working closely with the owner of the brokerage. The mortgage industry typically runs on tight timelines/deadlines and when things are delayed, people can lose thousands of dollars. I believe that is just the nature of this specific industry and not specific to HomePad Lending. Most of the employees that are hired are new to mortgage, chasing their dreams of making a six-figure income. The fallout in the mortgage industry is rather high due to the stress but the income is some of the highest pay you can earn. The money-to-stress exchange is too much for most people. I have been in the industry for 6 years and worked at 3 different companies and I can say this place is better than any of the banks I have worked for in the past. I gave it a 4/5 on the ability to move up because this company only employs loan officers and loan processors so there really aren't any managers, etc."

"I have had an excellent experience working at Homepad lending. There is a lot of opportunities to grow and advance within the company. The employees are also very friendly and easy to talk to and get along with. As far as an LO you receive a plethora of high-quality leads daily with aggressive rates which make you extremely competitive with other lenders."

"The job itself was great. Unfortunately the company and the owner are terrible and the worst management experience you will ever have. They will get mad at you and use foul language toward you if you can’t get a appraisal completed in 3 days over a holiday weekend. You also have no control as to when this process is completed as they use a third party. They have favorite employees and only promote family members. Not to mention they are really dishonest and lie to their customers on a regular basis."
