"The teachers here are very nice and supportive. The best part of my day is making small talk with the teachers."

"Find somewhere else to be. Unless you are going to become a specialist where you sit on your butt and do nothing all day you might as well just clean toilets."
What don't you like about working at Hollandale School District ?
"The administration is unorganized. Teachers find out everything at the last minute and are punished for trying to do the right thing for their students. The hours are long and there is no appreciation for anything extra that is done. The administration often takes the good work that teachers do and claim new ideas and good work as their own and as soon as it stops going well, all the blame is put on the teachers. The students needs are largely ignored. Many students show signs of social and emotional distress and there are no services provided to help them. The one person who is supposed to do this job never does it."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would listen to teacher and parent concerns and honestly try to meet their needs. I would offer students more social and emotional support and take mental health issues more seriously."
