"Worked for Holiday for 8 years, been promoted and developed wonderful relationships in the Senior Community. New GM comes in with ZERO experience and had huge jealousy issues, her 2 months of being there she decided to lie and terminate me. No questions asked, witnesses confirmed she lied and corporate leader didn’t question. Went above and beyond my role and they threw me out, with no questions asked! Residents were devastated, along with staff and they didn’t care. Holiday will always struggle with new Independent companies popping up. Why? Because the way they treat their employees, karma. Holiday, as a horrible reputation with hiring egotistical monsters as corporate leaders. I’m glad to be out of there. Working for another Senior Independent community, has really shown me how dysfunctional holiday really is. They will never be able to recover from the negative reputation. It’s really sad, what Holiday has turned in to."

"This review is about a very bad company who loses great people or just chases them away. Yes I mean Holiday Retirement and this is coming from a resident aid. First off, just about every resident here is upset over losing the most wonderful and warm maintenance man we have ever seen. He was kind and talked to everyone, not to mention repairing everything right away and caring how our property looked. His name was Steve and if he reads this we all want you to know we all loved you so much. Shame on this company."

"Terminated by Holiday Retirement after two years of excellent service and everything done on time because I finally said no to the most unfair request ever by a new area manager. First off I get a new area manager who changes my hours after two years with no regard for my wife's health issues. Then I get terminated after asking for help after being asked to rebuild a smoke, roach and bed bug completely gutted apartment by myself on top of all my other workload. Worst company ever, no help, no care for residents and arrogant upper management who do all their work behind a computer."
