"Most of the people are enjoyable to work with. They do try to foster teamwork there and promote within when available."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The company is going through some changes that appear to pit union vs management. Long hours and overtime may be required. Salaried overtime compensation is to the discretion of the supervisor/manager."

What don't you like about working at Holcim Group?

"They developed a long history of decisions that don't sit well with many people there. When it appears that they need to change, they don't move very quickly. They support people that get the job done but may do it by any means necessary."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They've developed a strong sense of management vs union at the company. Anyone who isn't part of upper management is usually left to fend for themselves and is caught in the crossfire between the 2 parties."
