"This was my family business that I expected to take over as the 3rd generation which I gave my heart and soul to for 12 years. I brought the company into the digital age as they were so far behind with systems and processes. Unfortunately, I know that I was capable of doing more but I wasn’t able to execute due to the owners not understanding what was needed to be done to consistently innovate and market to customers. I presented a plan to change the company around but they told me that there decision was to sell which left me with one of the hardest decisions to leave."
