"I was an employee for 10+ years. I was treated well by my supervisor and co-workers. The problem is corporate.... 3rd generation, family owned, they keep wages down by eliminating the older employees and bringing in the new lower wage employees. Your increases are 2 maybe 3 percent - about 25 cents a year. If you're employed at the plant, you get an extra 20 cents if you're really lucky. Safety is a huge issue with Heritage. They've had some major infractions. Look up their East Liverpool, OH location."
