"Do your research on the company before the interview, show persistance when trying to get a hold of the hiring manager- they want to see that you don't just call one time and give up- keep calling, but remain professional- and get ready for a long interview process... You will interview with 6 or 7 people and on the final interview they will fly you out to Indianapolis, IN."

What don't you like about working at Herff Jones Co.?

"Your salary has to cover all business expenses.. even though it is tax deductible, it drains you financially."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Implement more structure for new hires- require them to submit a weekly route of schools they plan to visit."

"Like having Independence, Receiving recognition for selling high volume and bringing in many new accounts."

"The interview process is lengthy and they will only allow you to work there in sales as an independent contract if your credit is stellar."

"Management in Indiana liked to tell me how the money I was bringing in for them which was real money was coming from schools that were not real because they were charter schools."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I helped bring the schools to a higher level that students could respect by helping them develop a mascot for their school, class rings, announcements, etc."
