"Holiday hours and the dress code and not being able to grow in the company."

"Take time to understand your employees needs and allow them to express them self and be rewarded when do so."

"stay away from Macy's because they are even worse and this company was bought by Macys"

"the pay, the amount of work, the back braking work, being led by people who kept lying to everyone what a woderful opportunity it was to work there"

"pay the people who actually do the work"

"I liked the customers,especially the repeat customers and the employee discount. My team leader was great but the store management and HR were too rigid."

What don't you like about working at Hecht's?

"Management and HR- They treat you like you are beneath them sometimes. They were not accomodating to changes in work/life balance so I chose to leave. It was not always a pleasant work environment."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Treat your employees with respect. They are adults and should be treated as such and not like child delinquents. Be examples of enthusiastic customer service, motivate and demonstrate the qualities that one expects of their team."
