"The company prior to chapter 11 allowed extensive freedom to operate the Region. Enjoyed the monthly Reginoal manager meetings where ideas, results and goals were discussed."

"Lack of integrity in the operation of stores where it came to sales techniques. Employees were highly compensated for sales results while knowing the methods used were dishonest. An example was selling services then not doing the services, charging the customer anyway and receiving bonus for the sale."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Work on changing the culture of the company. Focus on Customer service and Integrity to build customer base."

"I have worked for Heartland for several years. The company has just recently begun to turn around. The new CEO has good vision and is pointing the company in the right direction. The only issue is the managers below senior leadership are not strong managers and tend to manage by fear."
