"say your willing to work any hours and throw out words like Top Scrubbing, Buffing, Waxing ect ect..."

What don't you like about working at Healthcare Services Group?

"The fact that I was asked to terminate good employees due to the fact they where due vacation days, yearly raise in exchange for bonuses. The DM in my district dated many of his female Account managers whom also recieved bigger salaries reguardless of the fact they had less experience in the business, which incidently is the reason I lost my job to one of his lady friends in serch of a management possition. The DM also used company hours to pay personal employees to provide private cleaning service to his personal accounts including hotels, clinics and Dr offices in his residing area. You are also expected to go to other buildings on your own fuel with out reimbursement."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I wont lie, HSG is a good place to get Management experience. you learn to work with very limited resourses and stretch out what you do have. you also learn customer service and efficiency. just dont pick up their morals and bad habbits of sounding like used care salesmen."

"I enjoyed helping the residents, and providing the care that they needed at all times."

"Make sure you are for the residents, and are willing to provide excellent patient care."

"The units were nasty, bug infested, and patient care was poor, and so was management."

"To put more time into patient care, then in their morning meetings, and their Lucheons."

"Nothing, they work you like a dog, do manual labor daily, have no systems, or really care about anything but their profit"

"don't waste your time, they sell you the world and then don't deliver. and they are so cheap in every respect. they don't care except about making budget at all costs"

"Benefits are the worst in all aspects. Low pay for the industry, not computerized, lowest pay possible for hourly staff, cut their hours to make money, use low grade food products."

"all of the above. a terrible place, if you have ever worked for a professional company, this one isn't it."

"Ask what hours they are able to work, call past jobs to see if they where reliable,ask there opionion on there past jobs, likes and dislikes.DONT HIRE JUST TO FILL A POSISTION, TAKE YOUR TIME AND HIRE THE RIGHT STAFF."

"Once I made friends with the seniors, they would end up passing away."

"The people at the nursing home were nice."

"I had to drive to Wilmington, 2 hours there and back, to train at my own expense. They called you a Manager but would give you at least three people's jobs so they could cut budgets or lay people off. Again, I worked nights, weekends and came in early most mornings and I never received any benefit from it except exhaustion."

"The way the company is set up there's absolutely nothing the managers, at any level, can change much of anything."
