"Harvard is a mixed bag for support people, but does offer some nice perks."

What do you like about working at Harvard University?

"It was great fun working to get the union functioning. I met some great people there and did have a chance to hold several lectures. I liked being able to take courses at Harvard at greatly reduced prices and the courses that were part of the job were also useful."

What don't you like about working at Harvard University?

"I didn't like being in a subservient position."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give the support people a chance to go beyond support, especially if they know as much or more than the professors."
