"My postdoctoral studies focused on Biochemistry to understand more about biological mechanisms and synthesizing organic intermediates to understand the biological synthesis of natural products. Also, I am trained in developing and finding novel drugs for Multidrug Drug Resistance Tuberculosis/HIV patients. During this project I closely worked with MDs, research scientists and patients from the United States and South Africa along with several individuals from Harvard Affiliated Hospitals."
"I feel very proud of what I contributed at Harvard. Unfortunately, no one else there has the capacity to fully understand the scope of what I made look easy. It was not, but I left them in a much better place than they were when I started. :-)"
"HCRI is an academic research organization that performs many of the traditional CRO functions, but brings along with it the partnership it has with Harvard University."
"Harvard is a great institution to work for. You are surrounded by international students, faculty and staff. Although the salary can be low depending on the position, the colleagues, friends, and great benefits make it worthwhile."
"Great academic environment, huge opportunity to grow professionally, only if mentored by the right professor. Not all the departments offer the exact same level of dominance in the field, as you expect from a Harvard school, but in some areas, the research level is top of its class. Therefore, a fascinating place to work and grow. However, the environment is overly competitive, which sometimes harm, while on the other hand, it can help you thrive. A bad aspect is that the system is highly bureaucratic, which sometimes makes for fell left aside. Nonetheless, that is not an issue for someone joining for the experience and for learning, to later go somewhere else to excel."
"A great intellectual atmosphere and great people to work with."

"I've worked at Harvard Medical School since 2019, and there are so many people working on different projects that it's a haven for collaboration. My supervisors are extremely nice, accommodating, and smart people. I've learned more here than I had in the many years prior. Highly recommend this place for work!"
