"I would not recommend this company as an American software company.."

What don't you like about working at Harland Financial Solutions?

"The company traded hands several times and ended a British company. Several times I was approached by co workers using offensive language. I found out that the company had several problems of this nature. In the end, I am an American - my ancestors signed the US Constitution."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There main problem was with quality analysis. They had over twenty developers that wer every relaxed. I fixed over two thousand bugs in the application I was responsible for. In the end, my project was the only stable piece of software."

"HFS is now in survival mode and far from what it used to be... - thus stress replaced fun at work."

"There is a great bunch of people there - only one among the managers though..."

"Be ready for stress - prove you are nice and tolerant first."

What don't you like about working at Harland Financial Solutions?

"Too many opportunists came (and went) at the management level..."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Promote from inside only, or approved by people who work there and listen, listen to the people who really built that company - the litle bees..."

"The people I worked with on a daily basis. In the last two years, not much else to sing about."

"Don't. Seriously, the Washington offices being shut down and consolidating them to Portland Oregon."

What don't you like about working at Harland Financial Solutions?

"We were bought out by M&F Worldwide (holding company). From that day on, everything was sacrificed for the balance sheet. No salary raises, incentives removed and whole departments gutted. Managed by people who lived in another state whom we rarely met in person and had little understanding of the kind of software products we developed and supported."

"None, they don't listen nor understand."
