"Nearly all my relationships with colleagues and management were positive and I enjoyed the people I worked with. Even so, the culture itself was not positive. In my estimation this was a result of being under-resourced and under-staffed. It was easy to identify areas that needed improvement, but implementing quality solutions was extremely difficult given available resources. Repetitive efforts to identify problem areas and half implemented solutions generally led to a culture that was pessimistic and resistant to change. One positive side-effect of being under-resourced was that I was able to wear a lot of different hats and gain experience in ways that may not have been possible otherwise. If you can be a self-starter and want to take the challenge of leading efforts in process improvement, there is plenty of opportunity."
