"Business direction was made based on pleasing the parent company Roper, hence the best long term decisions (for the company) were often sacrificed for short term gains."

What do you like about working at Uson, L.P. ?

"The salary and autonomy were great."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Just know what you are getting into. I loved the people there, but as a work environment, it's a hard place to work. I had an uncommon ability to deal and adapt with little stress. I saw many other engineers come and go because they could not keep up and the stress was too much."

What don't you like about working at Uson, L.P. ?

"Roper the parent company is, in essence a group of investors and only concerned with maximum profits. As a result, 60 and sometimes 80 hour weeks were not uncommon. Additionally, there was an atmosphere of low moral because of the work level."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Upper management has little control as any deviation from Roper's plan will result in losing their job."

"no longer there, pretty much learned the true way of LASER BEAM WELDING there the jobs that I was welding was challening and fun that is what I liked."

"there was a change in managment that I felt was not suitable for the company ,that is only my apionon."

"need more help in management take a look at it."

"I liked the energy in the place, things are always moving, not a dull moment, to sell vehicle one has to be creative in the sales approach as the mfg, our job to come up with ways to sell. good place to work offering individual challenges, in my organization good relationship with sr mgmt."

"at times can be a little overwhelming with many changing parts. so you have to be able to keep up the changes and little bureaucracy also."

"very flexible, little bureaucracy, communicate more with the employees"
