"I worked for Grene Vision group for about a year. I worked for the pediatric and special needs doctor as an ophthalmic technician. I came in with no previous ophthalmic experience but was taught how to do everything by the other technicians on the team and doctor. I had a wonderful experience getting to know each patient, and handling each situation. They visits could range from simple visit to see if vision had changed to someone with severe eye diseases. You learn how to become sympathetic with your patients and making them smile can make all the difference during their visit. You learn how many diseases start and the technology used to cure or help slow down the progress."
