"If you're good at playing the game, regardless of abilities, you'll fit in just fine."

"Internal politics, favoritism; Blind and improper utilization of hand-picked lean principles leading to quality and customer issues (but never acknowledged as the cause); Lack of support/understanding for fool-proofing initiatives leading to true corrective actions (thus the constant challenge above)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Do the exact opposite of current direction - clean house of all old, lifelong experts in their processes. The mis-guided and worn out hunches of undeducated loyalists who lack any industrial knowledge outside of Grief will eventually be it's undoing."
