"I just got word that I was terminated for smoking cigarettes during training??! Excuse me, but what?!? I was at home, not talking to a client or candidate, and also, it was never mentioned that I couldn't do that, you didn't mention anything, and the manager (who was vaping ALL throughout the training yesterday) didn't mention anything, Liam didn't mention anything... AND R, the trainer was vaping ALL throughout his appearance yesterday. Apparently, I have to reach manager status to be able to consume a completely legal substance in my own home while working? I know I've said this multiple times, but I want it to be clear the hypocrisy and poor communication this company has in place. I call shenanigans on this policy. I'm spreading this message to everyone I know, posting on all job review boards and otherwise warning potential and current candidates not to break rules or join this company at all if you fire someone for something they didn't know would get them fired AFTER TWO DAYS OF TRAINING. I'm so very disappointed in this organization. Not that you're part of even the BBB or have a reasonably professional page on LinkedIn, but rest assured you will NOT get a positive review on every site I will post to today. Fired.... for smoking in my own home... no wonder you guys hire ANYONE. You just lost a seasoned, talented recruiter who was willing to put in the time (UNPAID TIME) to search and find candidates for the measly $100 per placement."
