"I want to start off my saying that this is an accurate and honest experience I had with this company. I am in no way a disgruntled employee, I since then started with a new company and I am extremely happy. After 2 days of employment I was told the company was being sued for Sexual Harassment. As it made me very uncomfortable I stayed with the company because the owner seemed nice and at the time I really wanted to get back to work....As time went on there were so many red flags with this company. The owners father, who is also a partner would come in and degrade the employees in front of everyone. On a few occasions he made direct sexual comments to me and other female employees in my presence. When I mentioned this to the other owners wife, she laughed and continued to tell me he makes comments like that to her and her sons girlfriend as well. This was the most disturbing part of my employment with Gorkin Glass. They went through many managers and employees who have quit, or simply walked out and never returned, but in recent months they hired a new manager. In 6 months I never saw the manager get up from her desk. She would sit at her desk and eat all day, very unapproachable, and unhelpful if you came to her with an issue. The working environment is unsafe and filthy with leaks coming through the ceiling, rodent issues and the smell of mold from wet tiles. Other than the poor poor management, creepy owners and filthy environment the employees were friendly and really great to work with."
