"I worked at Perkins/Gordon's Food Service for 15 years. I worked really hard, got promoted to supervisor and gained a lot of skills along the way. They helped develop my interpersonal skills, shape my view of what it means to be a leader, and trained me to be professional in all aspects of my career."

"it's a a good paying job, but expect to work your butt off. I think they underpay their employees for the work they expect you to do, but you get used to the life and the paychecks. It seems they are getting cheaper and cheaper since Mr. Gordon died, the new and younger family seem to be cheap and are trying to expand rapidly, which is good but they are cutting back a lot and passing the cost on to the backs of the employees. What they expect you to do is figure it out and make it happen. Gone on 2 day routes you will be away from home 4 total days and off the rest. VERY VERY hard on your family and I see a lot of cheating the wives do back home while you're out slaving away in the snow, ice, rain, tornado, holidays. People need their food and you will be the only idiot in -20 degree weather doing a 10 hr food delivery or a rain storm with the wind blowing your trailer back and forth, but with good comes bad, I'm going to say I'm underpaid $150 a week, to be fair this job is great at times and horrible at others, no middle, maybe that's what evens it out."

"Worked for this company over the past 3 years and have watched our growth explode! Management is hands off and allows you to make your own independent decisions and holds you accountable for them. This position offers many challenges but is a very satisfying career."
