"Before you accept a position at Godley ISD, please do your research. They pride themselves on small teacher/class ratios to justify their poor pay. They don't deliver. In addition, the folks are very narrow-minded. The students are highly entitled. The administration doesn't like to spend money on paraprofessionals, so the teachers have to share them in inclusion classes (30 min/class). The superintendent is more focused on new construction than making existing buildings safe. The current buildings have issues that make them unsafe, but I won't address those here as that would be people at risk. There has been a great deal of turnover among Campus Administrators. Most have less than 3 years experience. They are trying to pass a raise for teachers. Although, most parents and students feel that Google can do what a teacher does. The development in Godley is expanding quickly, which means there will be opportunity. Teachers are cliquish."
