"The company has no clue how to develop software in a modern era."
"I enjoyed working at Gerber. Due to the economy, additional layoffs were required."
What do you like about working at Gerber Technology?
"The people and my job. I enjoyed what I did to help customers with our product."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is a fun and enjoyable place to work. Have other job options in the event layoffs continue."
"I would work at Gerber Scientific not as a career, but as a way to make money to pay bills until a better opportunity presents itself."
What do you like about working at Gerber Technology?
"I enjoyed working with the all employees outside of the Risk Management Group. The personnel from the A/P and A/R departments were wonderful. I especially liked working with the personnel at their international divisions worldwide."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"There is allot of politics in the management of this company. Concentrate on your proven abilities and experience. If you do not have all the skills, demonstrate that you would like to learn and grow to fill those strengths. Unless the management has changed since I last worked there, don't count on staying too long. The turn-over is very high."
What don't you like about working at Gerber Technology?
"It was highly inappropriate to have a Part-time hourly employee , Risk Manager, oversee the treasury function of the company. Treasury Management is to oversee Risk Management in any Corporation I've worked at. Besides, I was doing more than half of the risk manager's job as they were grocery shopping on Peapod.com and setting up pedicure and manicure appointments for themselves. This so called part-time hourly employee actually ended-up earning more than me and barely worked an honest day in their lives. Always seemed to go out to lunch with their Boss."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Suggest the Sr. Treasury Analyst should have been promoted to Treasury Manager and reported directly to the Controller and/or CFO of the company instead of a part-time hourly risk manager."
