I was involved in multiple research projects in which I helped design and implement experiments and correlational studies as well as analyzing all data from the studies. I also helped with grant-writing and presenting the results and interpretations of study results at conferences and in scientific papers. I found the environment stimulating, intellectual, flexible, and challenging."

"You have to love learning for learning's sake, and be willing to work very hard for very little compensation. Intrinsic motivation is key."

"There is a decided lack of application in everything I do. This makes it really hard for me to care or be fulfilled. Furthermore, the compensation is not enough to make me suck it up and deal."

"The management/administration is phenomenal. I merely have a fundamental issue with the type of work I'm doing."
