3.8Overseeing of 11 buildings in the Inland Empire and 7 in the port area. I trained each maintenance personnel in the different construction disciplines and I unified the separate buildings maintenance team and created a construction team. I would oversee each facility’s needs, assort from Immediate to nonperfect and send crews of our own men to handle the jobs including dock door repairs 100 percent, advanced piping, welding, metal fabrication, conduit, coding, and GMP, environmental, storm water audits but advanced PM programs all will proper documentation and Communication as well. I use my background of industrial construction and bidding for the jobs we must use outside vendors for and will have their pricing honest. I Used my understanding of California programs to not only gain tax dollar for dollar credits but revenue as well with some cases requiring no cash ever spent. Others by simply rearranging what we have on site. I keep communications with the VP of Operations as that is who I answer to, and I bring projects to his attention that goes outside my budget cap, to show areas where improvement can be made and the ROI. I build teams of leaders. I correct wrong behavior or if progress is not made within the appointed time, a replacement will be found to strengthen our team. I’ve played ball on both sides of the game and personally I enjoy being on this side of it.
3.9I work for a 4-star company for 3 years and I really enjoyed working there as an inventory control specialist I have learned many skills how to operate a warehouse equipment picking package auditing and inventory control cycle County troubleshooting working with Excel spreadsheets and Reporting efficiently to my supervisor maintaining safety and overall I enjoyed by duties I can work independently and very dependable I have a good relationship with my supervisors and my coworkers I believe in teamwork and they really like me I was compensated well Yeti but I do deserve to get more money since I have the skills for the last 2 years their environment was very family-orientated and we worked as a team you can always come to the supervisor or your co-workers to get assistance I could get my job done very well easily and if I needed assistance I had adequate support my ability to improve was real rewarding and I thank my supervisor for all the skills I learned the tools and the resources were readily available and I did a very good job I would recommend this company
4.6While GEODIS is a large corporation with its US headquarters in Tennessee and its international headquarters in France, it still manages to maintain a start-up culture and environment at the local warehouse level. After five years on the job as an Operations Analyst, I can say that these means that there is a good possibility you will be working on several projects simultaneously, working with multiple vendors, and accountable to various project stakeholders. This is what keeps the work interesting. In addition, Human Resources does a great job throughout the year to engage all employees in team-building exercises.
