"I was the Recreation Director in NAME ONLY. I had a business card that said I was the Recreation Director for the single worst, most poorly managed, unprofessional work environment in the state of Connecticut. In 21 years of working in a professional setting, it was the single worst working experience of my life. My bottom line: poop rolls downhill, never up. Question, research and do as much investigating as you can regarding administration in this building!"

What don't you like about working at Genesis HealthCare System?

"Not open to new ideas. Promotions based on who you know, not what you know. Mission is just smoke and mirrors, they don't care about taking care of patients."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Bring in new talent with fresh ideas and get rid of the dead wood. Start listening to the staff. Come out of your offices and get up on the floors and talk to staff and find out what is neded for improvement."
