"I Believed in the Product and services, great concept, consumers needed virsatility in a purchase, company as a whole cared about consumer more than any other bigger competitors, offered a verity of brand name products and in house financing"

"Be competent and respond to the questions properly be presentable articulate and sharp, and in tuned meaning focus on the questions and your answers 80% of hiring is based on presentation your image and how you come across, as a manager I would rather select the right attitude over experience, good luck"

"Over the years it seemed the staff his culminated to a cult they were lots of family relations and personal relations within the company and that is not a healthy environment to wotk at, especially when you the company hires new management to run the day to day tasks, company employees were to comfortable to continue doing what they were doing and when a new manager challenged the employee, the employee won because he or she was related to a senior manager in rge company or had a relation with, Store managers had no back ups of senior level company executives, as a general manager company should provide u with more versatilityin decision making I saw what was wrong and I could not make any changes because of the cult"

"to trust more in your Store General managers, and provide them with more versatility, and when selecting a location prior to opening a location consult with local to be hired managers for inputs managers must have been in the industry and around the area for a long period and have acquired lots of vital information to get to that level, their input is crucial to the success of the operation"

"Fast pace, some merch. freedoms and large stores."

"Becareful...make sure there are no other choices."

"The new Claims processes, the reduction of payroll at all levels and the lack of MD's"

"Keep the Company like it was with Lee Scott...Mr. Dukes is trying to run it like he is still overseas...Not working !!!!!"

"Nice Clean very quite environment. 45 hours work week is good to balance your life."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You need to ask questions to the interviewer .They are not exactly telling your job description.If you are interested try to visit several stores so you can feel how it is going to be working in these huge stores with thousand and thousands of frames and arts by yourself."
What don't you like about working at Aaron Brothers?
"They are staffed very very low. The whole store was run by 4 -5 people. The biggest challenge is Frame and art supplies deliveries every week. They arrived after midnight and it is so hard to find some to work for 5 hours for that hard job. Plano-gram is created by cooperate office and ask you to change the big store from one end to another without enough staffing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Immediately hire persons for delivery and put away the frames and art supplies.learn how to frame the arts asap as framers usually work Monday thru Friday.prepare yourself to get up at the middle of the night to do the deliveries and rest few hours and go back to work.if you are a manager coming from busier environment with lots of employees this place is not for you."

"I dislike bureaucracy, and not having enough sales associates."

"Really, no really, put APRONS back on the floor this time."

"The district was a joke, and there were unrealistic expectations from the DM down - 70 plus-hour work weeks and below level sales associates."

"They are out of business now, The changes where to frequent without time to validate the progres."

"It is too late...it would be to have solid plans and to stick with them in order to learn what is working and what needs improvement/change."
