"General Atomics was a great company to work for! I am a former employee who was unfortunately laid off from General Atomics on Aug. 26th, 2020 due to the company’s decision in reducing the workforce. If the company was not undergoing the reduction in force process, I would have loved to continue providing my engineering background and skillset to further benefit the company. I enjoyed my team, supervisor, and manager as I'm confident they would say the same."

"GA-ASI is a nice company to work for. They are probably comparable to most defense companies in the industry. So it has a respectable level of benefits include a pension, 401k with company matching, standard fair of healthcare, dental, and legal. It is a privately own company so it is different in that category. There is free EV charging while you work, On-campus gyms that are available when there is no COVID. It is a small company that grew rapidly in 2000-2015 and is now looking to move into more foreign military markets domestic military sales have settled off."

"GA is a very fast pace place to work. There is not a lot of control over your work or the pace of it. Don't expect to have a healthy work-life balance unless you are crazy efficient. Also there was a lot of headaches involved with software development on the lab systems. The people that work there are great though, and there is a nice community."
