"As we get bigger, the small company advantages go away and we are becoming stultified, bureaucratic, and hide-bound"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Invest in your employees. While benefits have improved somewhat, and supposedly salaries are going up (they'd better), the CEO's dismal answer to a question about developing new technology in-house shows that his priority is not in developing the employees he has but in building his kingdom through acquisition."
