"Contractors are disposable, mgt is poor"
What do you like about working at GE Technology Infrastructure?
"The pay rate."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"They'll hire people based on a phone interview, which isn't necessarily good because the candidate isn't even told what they're getting into. Ask a LOT of questions to insure the job fits. Keep in mind that they don't mind hiring then firing multiple disposable contractors to find one that instantly clicks. Some contractors just last a couple of weeks. Also, they give NO notice when they drop you. One day you're just told to leave. Crummy. Real crummy."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire people into traditional direct positions and start treating them well. Keep Jason from managing people, which he's awful at, and let him manage systems which he's very knowledgeable about."
